It was only about a week ago that we said farewell to Don Ho.  I am back at the Hilton Hawaiian once again, but this time to say goodbye to a dear friend.

I am wondering if it is a normal custom to spread ashes out to sea because this was the second time I witness this type of ceremony.

As in this picture, it is nice to see Waikiki from the oceanside.  This must be what surfers see everytime they are out there catching waves.  I remember bodyboarding when I was little but never tried surfing.  I guess it is time to try it.  When I do, I will let you know!
