October 31 is All Hallows Eve or what we have come to know as Halloween!  From when I was a child, I remember Halloween to be a scary day.  However, in order not to be scared, we had to dress up like the ghosts and goblins that were to be out and about.

I always thought dressing up for Halloween was only for children but lately, I have come to realize that even adults have fun dressing up and sometimes they are better dressed than the children.

Here is a picture of a group of about 30 adults gathering near Waikiki Shell before going out to Trick-or-Treat.  I wonder how much candy they were able to get.

My niece and nephew have a yearly tradition to go and Trick-or-Treat at the Koko Marina Shopping Center.  Of course there needed to be a ghoulish body guard to make sure no other fiends caused them any trouble.

Carved out pumpkins decorate the homes and doorways inviting those to Trick-or-Treat.  Houses that did not give out treats are usually treated to a trick or two.

There was a haunted house that is popular amongst the neighbors in the Koko Marina/Koko Head area.  We decided to venture into this house which had flying ghosts, sleeping mummies, a life-sized walking skeleton and a scary man near the exit as screams were heard throughout the night.

The scary man in the mask decided to go home for the evening as it will be another year until he can come out and play again!

My friend said she saw you Halloween night, but I didn't expect you to look
so scary. She said that she lives right accross from the Haunted House! Yikes. Well, it looks like you had fun. What did you wife dress up as??? We were boring folk and didn't dress up as anything - but got to see some action in Waikiki!!! See ya...
