It was only about a week ago that we said farewell to Don Ho. I am back at the Hilton Hawaiian once again, but this time to say goodbye to a dear friend.I am wondering if it is a normal custom to spread ashes out to sea because this was the second time I witness this type of ceremony. As in this picture, it is nice to see Waikiki from the oceanside. This must be what surfers see everytime they are...

Kenichi, who was a student at the University of Hawaii and interned with us at our company, just graduated. I was thinking that he would decide to stay in the United States and find a job but he decided to go back to Japan to pursue his future. He was looking into working for a travel agency or an advertising agency. He has an interview with one of the major advertising firms in Japan in the next...

It was Mother's Day on Sunday and a lot of restaurants were busy. I happened to be in the Pearlridge Mall area and the Denny's had a line outside and it was only about 9am.We all went to Makino Chaya at the Aloha Tower Marketplace for dinner that night. They really packed in that restaurant and there were lines to get the food. There was Wagyuu Beef being cooked Teppanyaki style but it didn't taste...
