There was supposedly a large school of fish near the Yacht Harbor area by Magic Island for about a month now.  So, I pursuaded my family to go out fishing like we used to do when I was young.  We used to wake up early, grab breakfast at McDonald's and set up the fishing poles almost every weekend.  Since I was only about 12 or 13 years old, I used to get really bored waiting for the fish to bite.  So, I would start "fishing" for the crabs that were always around along the rocks.

The school of fish seems to have vanished and none of the fishes that swam by were interested in what we had to offer.  To my surrpise, I reeled in a Stick Fish, similar to the one I mentioned in my earlier Blog on June 1.

Actually, I have to admit that it was my wife who caught the Stick Fish on her second try!  Even my dad caught a tilapia after trying different locations along the edge of the water.  I was the only one that wasn't able to catch anything using the fishing poles.

The one thing that I did "catch" was a picture of a baby hammerhead shark that was swimming along the edge.  Although it was a baby, it still looked mean and dangerous.

Hopefully, in the future,  I can get a better start when we notice that there is a school of fishes.
