I had guests from Japan visiting the Islands and we took them out to dinner the other night. We went to one of my favorite restaurants called Kai. It is basically Japanese Teppanyaki Style cooking but the items on their menu is unique and delicious.

This family comes to Hawaii every year and they always stay at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel. Isn't it amazing how fast kids grow up? I knew the youngest son when he was about 6 years old. I would always carry him on my back but now, I should ask him to carry me! Actually, he is not that big yet but I am definitely bigger than him.

I got to eat another homemade bento today for lunch. But this time, the hamburger patty was made by yours truly. Yes, I tried to cook some dinner last night. The only thing that I could make was a juicy, flavorful, and a little spicy hamburger patty. I almost cooked all of it but my wife reminded me that I needed to save some for my bento the next day.
